When should I book a newborn shoot?
The ideal window is the first 0–3 weeks after birth, when newborns sleep deeply and settle into those classic curled poses. Because the date depends on delivery, we recommend reserving a tentative slot around your due date, 4–6 weeks ahead.
How much does a newborn session cost?
Newborn sessions start at ₹24,000 (Newborn Essential — 2 setups, 15 edited images, family shots) and go up to ₹38,000 (Newborn Signature — 3–4 setups, a sibling setup and a cinematic reel). Book it with a maternity shoot and save around 15% on the pair.
Is the session safe for my baby?
Safety comes first, always. Sessions are slow and led entirely by your baby — warm room, plenty of feed and settle breaks, and only gentle, supported posing. Nothing is forced; we work patiently around naps so the experience is calm for baby and you.
How long does a newborn session take?
Plan for two to three relaxed hours. Newborns set the pace, so we never rush — there's time for feeding, soothing and outfit changes. You're welcome to bring anything that helps baby settle, and a parent or sibling can join the frames.
Where do newborn sessions happen?
In either of our studios — Old Rajinder Nagar in New Delhi or DLF City IV, Sector 28 in Gurugram — both kept warm and quiet for newborns. We're a specialist portrait studio, by appointment only. We specialise only in maternity, newborn and children's portraiture, so we don't offer passport or ID photos — any neighbourhood studio can help with those.
